From Adoe, Said to improve call of Acrobat Within IE when displaying a PDF. I dislike this as it's a potentila host for trojan. So I delete it (doens't see any difference in IE calling PDF after that).

unable to delete, even as administrator. not required for youtube. any software refusing to be deleted and not initially requesting your permission to be installed should be regarded as suspicious.

i dont like BHOs on my system, they can be compromised. Autoruns, Spybot & many others allow you to easily disable/enable. i disable with no adverse effect. you can always enable again if needed.
