Actalert installs in the same folder as "internet optimizer". If you have one, then you probably have the other. Optimizer is reguarded as bad, so if you remove one, I'd suggest you remove the other.

I know I didn't see a prompt to download it, so it can't be desirable. Spyware is typically distributed in not so straightforward ways. Chances are, if you don't remember a prompt related to it, its bad news, or at least unpleasant.
