As DNS-Server put it anbmserv.exe is a process that comes with all acer notebooks, and it is power management related. It is a part of the Acer E-recovery suite.

This process consistently bogs my computer by using up to 100% of the available CPU power. When I stop the service through task manager, there are never any negative side effects.
