Panda Antivirus Titanium resident EXE+VxD (Win9x only?). It should not be closed EVER, unless if you want to update your antivirus manually, in that case, do not forget to reenable resident shield after updating!.

I just had major problems with this error message it would not let me reinstall pada or uninstall..after alot of searching I ran a hijack this file...deleted all panda related files....and It worked!..Hope this helps someone out there with the same frustartions

it is part of panda av pro 2009,
i removed APVXDWIN from startup in msconfig , DONT DO THIS . now i cant login to my computer and im stuck at a loop after BIOS that feeds a error saying the Windows root \system32\hal.dll is either missing or corrupt . I Agree that it is essential and VERY dangerous . BUT DONOT REMOVE it. i dont think the error im experencing is fixable at all . the link i have is a forum where i posted my problem , i hope it helps .
