I keep getting an error message that this file will not load. i searched for it and deleted it. the error message went away. but now winxp has internet problems loading IE. it does not download anything.

Asus Probe driver. To disable (or remove it) go to hardware manager, enable hidden devices in view, and find the driver in none-plug and play devices. There it can be stopped, startup method changed, or removed. The Asus Probe util might not work w/o it, but who cares.

Solution: uninstall the program, open all the ISTMPs and eliminate the ones that contain AsmiHwio.dll and/or other files related to PC Probe (check them in Program Files/Asus/Probe before unistalling). Re-install the program and ... go!
