It appears to be a driver for Tages copy protection, a game cd copy protection scheme. I discovered this by an information popup from Win 7 disabling the driver file and locating the file by poking around in the system32/drivers folder. There is an updated version on the Tagessecurity.com website, also uninstall info program available. This is needed for an installed game to run. I have had severe issues with my wired USB Logitech mouse (m100) that popped up ironically after I installed a game that this was apparently installed with "quietly". I have read about other issues it has caused others - get rid of this
