This is part of a portable microscope application
I see AVEO Cap STI monitor Tool running on my Win8.1 Installed it from disk that came with digital microscope purchased from China. I am happy with the scope but was not aware the software was running continuously. With task manager I see it using ~3% of CPU and 3.7MB of memory.
Opening a PDF document via FireFox v. 31.0 causes a massive, constantly running 'start of hundreds of FireFox instances. SysInternal's 'Process Monitor' shows what's happening..
The AveoSTI application seems to be essential for a digital microscope I purchased from China. It's otherwise unrequired.
Came with my Chinese 50x-500x Microscope. I use it, however I took it off my start-up list.
