its related to my cingular wireless. Although, it is out of control and eating up the cpu. I killed it from running and now, everything runs fine. Does not seem to affect my wireless access. So, what is Cingular using this for if it does nothing more than slow the process down.?

If it's for my t-mobile wireless, it seems to be putting a strain on firefox, running cpu at 100%, same as bmop.exe, where'd they both come from?? i'm sure they weren't on the processes before.

Since Cingular is now AT&T, This is part of the AT&T Communication Manager Package that is avaiable at att.com. The package allows use of your wireless cell phone as a G3 tethering device. This software is related to network communication so there is potential seucirty risk but if you have the AT&T Communication Manager Software then do not worry about it.

I have Cricket wireless, and I have just barely noticed it and it never ends with task manager. I just dont want to mess anything up so i haven't uninstalled it.

This seems to be a virus. Look for an executable called 7619656643.exe in your appdata\local folder and delete it. (You will need to go into Windows safe mode to be able to do so)
