On sony vaio VGN - CSxxx preinstalled. don't remove it! or install another driver.
I found BTStackServer.exe in my Lenovo software pack at C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Bluetooth Software so I renamed it to ensure it did not get re-loaded. My machine now runs Bluetoothmanager.exe from C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Bluetooth Manager, and the result is MY CPU was running at 30% and RAM was near 80%, and now it is 5% CPU and 45% RAM. And everything works. I got suspicious when I found the bluetooth mouse and keyboard were very slow.
If Skype tells you it wants access, it's so you can use bluetooth headsets. If you don't care, you can say no.
This program is part of the Broadcom WIDCOMM Bluetooth Stack and is essential to its operation. You need this to send/receive files, play music to your computer from a Bluetooth device and all other Bluetooth-related services. If it's pre-installed on your machine, don't remove it, however, it may be safely updated from Broadcom's official download site.
