it was one of the three drivers for the pc-kbd; it appears to cause kbd-type-mismatches: erratic behaviour of the kbd; after removal keyboard works fine; it was on a new pc!!

Description: Dritek PS2 Keyboard Filter Driver. it's a keyboard filter, it's legitimate. add it to the trsuted zone.

It didn't appear to have any effect after disabling it on my Toshiba laptop; however, as soon as I tried to enter text on any dialog box it locked the keyboard and mouse forcing me to turn-off the computer. I enabled it and my computer was fine. Still, I don't like any KB filter program running in my PC unless I know its purpose.
