I had it after installing Daemon Tools lite. When I uninstalled, the DT agent and Net Agent folder remained. I had to delete the program folder from x86 as well as using regedit program and searching for dtagent, then deleting all instances of the program. it is a program that stays behind due to gadgets side window.

Best practices for resolving DTAgent issues

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with DTAgent. This means running a scan for malware, cleaning your hard drive using cleanmgr and sfc /scannow, uninstalling programs that you no longer need, checking for Autostart programs (using msconfig) and enabling Windows' Automatic Update. Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time.
