I found it running as an application on my firewall and blocked it. I also ran a search in the registry and it was not found. Will look for it under the system files as Monty and others on this site have written.

It keeps autostarting, but I can't see a line in the registry to run it.

It's associated with the following processes: salm.exe, bargains.exe, bargain.exe( -Not sure about that one), exdl0.exe, and exdl2.exe. I recommend searching for these files and removing/deleting them from your hard drive, and simultaneously "End Process" to the file and each of it's components to prevent regeneration. I found "exdl1.exe"as well as 0 and 2 in C:\WINXP\system32. That is a common location for viruses and windows files as well, so be careful when deleting things!(Hint: Viruses and such have usually been modified recently, as opsd to windows components, most of which are stagnant.
