--IF- it isnt the original ms shell ftp program then it may be a virus or logger, try renameing it ,wait a few mins then check to see it its been put back, if so somethings checking and re installing the bad app, also check tftp also, please try and find a salution, it have that problem right now and no cure so far after days of searching the web.....
All i know is, every time ftp.exe runs, it creats its own instance of command prompt, which i dont think is right......
