rebooted my Vista 32-bit os & then the binaries disappeared--unable to "uninstall" it. I went through & deleted registry entries & its remaining dir structure & contents. certainly no legit program does this!
It is a virus. It tracks what you are typing and it is doing that right now.

Is a trojan that hides itself as adware has caused damage to my system it may try to do the same to yours
Dunno much about it but I do know that if AVG states that it is a risk it has no place on my computer!
I think it is connected to, an internet game site. I don't trust it though. It has the potential to be misused, and I don't know this company well enough to trust them with my computer. I used revo uninstaller to wipe it off my system.

Key logger and pop-ups that can't be blocked
First, I urge all of you to research and learn about what different types of MalWare are out there. Gamevance32.exe is not a virus. It is a program that acts as AdWare. Most websites, these days, use tracking cookies. This program picks up on these cookies and displays it in form of an annoying pop up with audio. It is harmless for your computer. Just annoying. However, along with the browser pop ups are, on occasion, system pop ups. These may contain a more malicious MalWare. Below is a link to remove it.

Ok well I had gamevance and I removed it with avg free 2011. Now if you don't have sufficient internet access as in gamevance is blocking your computer from starting the internet up then your going to need to get on another computer and download the avg 2011 installer then put that on a usb drive. Plug the usb in and install avg. Run a computer scan on slow scan. Avg will find the virus listen as gvun.exe 4 different times. It will also find other adware listed as gamevance32.exe which is the adware engine. It will find malicious .dll which are executable files that are viruses.
Every 10 minutes, my virus protection says its a virus
I'm pretty sure it was causing pop ups, I tried to erase but it told me I needed permission. don't know what that is about.
to get ride of it go to control panal then go under add or remove program. There you can uninstall th program
It crashes the computer and is difficult to reboot. Can't find it in the programs to uninstall..

is installed to Program Files Directory as a free game client, but it is also malware and should not be installed. it wont destroy or harm or system files, but it does make your system less secure and opens you up for further infections.
Couldn't figure out why Internet was not responding. Was the damn gamevance. Went to add/remove programs and simply removed, restarted. All good

Best practices for resolving gamevance32 issues

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with gamevance32. This means running a scan for malware, cleaning your hard drive using cleanmgr and sfc /scannow, uninstalling programs that you no longer need, checking for Autostart programs (using msconfig) and enabling Windows' Automatic Update. Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time. Even for serious problems, rather than reinstalling Windows, you are better off repairing of your installation or, for Windows 8 and later versions, executing the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command. This allows you to repair the operating system without losing data.
