I used to allow the google labs to use my computer when there was available bandwidth; the agreement was that it could be easily stopped. in actuality, it took over my machine on multiple occasions, causing it to freeze up, and unable to run my own applications. I closed off access, or so I thought. months later, and I cannot delete this program from my hard drive; my CPU usage is often at 100%, even when my machine is "idle", system freezes up frequently. what's really going on here? I advise against this. would like to know how to get it off my machine entirely.
