It is certainly part of the sofware used to drive an hp color laserjet. Sometimes when it "has encounterd a problem and needs to close" no further diffuculty emerges. At other times memory error messages appear, sumtimes followed by abrubt application failures. HP seems to know little about why this problem occurs.
