Scanjet scanner - web page builder
  J.Brown   (further information)
This program is related to the feature "share-to-web" from some HP hardwares, so if you don't pretend to use that, you could terminate it to save some memory, I did it.
  Rodrigo Lobo Schmidt
It's part of Hewlitt Packards Share to Web software
Part of scanner software from HP
When I end this process I can not use my HP Scanjet Scanner but if I restart the process comes up again and then I can scan. So I will end this process each time I turn the computer on unless I plan to use the scanner. I don't use the HP share-to-web function so I don't know if it has something to do with this or not.
Part of scanner software from HP, I have removed it with regedit from RUN folder, because I don't want to use it
nothing but think its more garbage being forced on the unsuspecting

I'm using Norton SS o delay startup since I use the scanner

Best practices for resolving hpgs2wnd issues

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with hpgs2wnd. This means running a scan for malware, cleaning your hard drive using cleanmgr and sfc /scannow, uninstalling programs that you no longer need, checking for Autostart programs (using msconfig) and enabling Windows' Automatic Update. Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time. Use the resmon command to identify the processes that are causing your problem. Even for serious problems, rather than reinstalling Windows, you are better off repairing of your installation or, for Windows 8 and later versions, executing the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command. This allows you to repair the operating system without losing data.
