HPOstr05.exe can most often be identified as malicious programming if it begins to take up mass amounts of cpu usage. This is most easily identifiable if your computer slows down and windows task manager says that the task is taking up past 85% of your cpu

this file is related to HP printers, personally i have a HP OfficeJet 610. It is annoying on startup when it connects to the printer and does all sorts of checks.
