I have for my internet provider. this is a small tool to let you know if you are getting close to you download limit. No danger at all.
I have been using it for years with my Hughes Satellite system. Keeps track on how much bandwidth i use . works great
it is a nightmare. barely worked well when I had satalite and now is virtually impossible to get off an old laptop with an outdated os [thank you ms for no longer helping with the older os programs]I am having to use. I have gone into remove programs and it acts like a virus not letting me remove it and putting boxes up in front of the removal box where I can't finish getting rid of it

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with HughesNetStatusMeter. Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time.
