IDMan.exe [internet Download Manager] its an external download manager similar to DAP[Download Accelerator Plus]. It simply a download accelerator and is a great app to have. IDM is awesome it's download speed are super fast and can be configured to your browser and personal preferences. It. works independently outside of your browser so it won't lag or crash your browser. I Have test drove several download accelerators and I think IDM is the fastest and the best and the easiest to use.. It's not malware or spyware and in my opinion is completely safe.
The mother of all download managers. But for frequent minor updates, the 'Google' of download managers
Very good piece of software, although on win XP it cansometimes take 99% of CPU, so sometimes it is good to monitor how it works.

Two of the same program exist, one is the trusted downloading service app known as internet download manager *IDM* and the other is installed through flash*probably fake flash installers or infected setups*which is placed within "%User%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player\SpeedCache" this however is not a safe app due it runs hidden using vb.scripting and typical echo off@ codes made to hide and run the service which is basic malware procedure as well it loads the pc cpu usage to its maximum and causes performance problems, advise to install malwarebytes note to go to the official site and get your legal/trial copy of malwarebytes and do a full scan.better safe than sorry
