ImpulseNow is part of the game client formerly known as "Impulse", now branded as the "Game-Stop App". It is essential for users who choose to purchase their games through it's direct download feature. However, the program does collect quite large amounts of usage data from all activities conducted on the computer in which it is installed, and "phone's home" to Game Stop. In addition, it is exceedingly difficult to fully uninstall this program with either it's own uninstaller or the one native to windows.
