I ran a scan with trend micro's "housecall" and it found a file called KbdStub.EXE to be a trojan horse. It got rid of it, but I had to go into the registry and delete the key. Also, had to go into the startup program and delete it from there too. Some had said it was connected somehow to the keyboard. My keyboard is fine. I know how I got this virus. My husband went to a sight to download movies.(Dumb A**) So, I went into my control panel and clicked on Network & Internet. I then clicked Manage Add Ons. On the left side you will see show: Pull down the arrow and make sure All add-ons shows.

It comes installed with HP Personal Computers. It's part of their package for both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. It's for their Multimedia Keyboards and resides in "C:\Program Files (x86) Hewlett-Packard\KBD;KbdStub.EXE. To delete it off your pc is to fool with the risk of killing off those mulitmedia keys that are present on the multimedia keyboard that came with your HP PC. I for one would not fool with it; why? I use my multi-media keys all the time, I would not want them unstable and/or not working any longer. I would go to the HP website for more info (note, I did not. I checked other websites when I was reviewing start-up progarms this morning)
