What is LTSVC.exe?

The genuine LTSVC.exe file is a software component of LabTech Remote Monitoring and Maintenance Platform by ConnectWise Capital.
"LTSVC.exe" is a Windows service that starts automatically when Windows boots. It is the endpoint agent for LabTech Software's RMM (Remote Monitoring and Maintenance) Platform. It installs in "C:\Windows\LTSvc\LTSVC.exe" and is usually about 13MB in size. It may be possible to use the Control Panel's "Uninstall" applet to remove "LTSVC.exe", but first be aware whether the PC belongs to an enterprise IT network and if a managed services contract exists. Removing the endpoint agent may cut off remote troubleshooting and update installation. Note that in 2010 ConnectWise Capital invested in LabTech Software, (founded in 2004 in Tampa, FL, USA), and in November 2016 the product was rebranded as "ConnectWise Automate." No information was provided as to whether this endpoint agent program might be renamed or replaced as part of integration into the ConnectWise product line.
