What is LXCEtime.dll?

The genuine LXCEtime.dll file is a software component of Lexmark 4300 Series Communications Timer by Lexmark International.
The file "LXCEtime.dll" is a dynamic link library for Lexmark 4300 Series All-in-One printers and handles the timing of printer communications to the PC. It allows the Windows OS to detect and communicate with the printer successfully by delaying the communication until Windows completely starts up or by retrying after communication failure has occurred. The file basically ensures that the printer is able to connect, communicate, and function correctly in the Windows OS. Without it, Windows would prompt that it is offline or not connected because it is too busy with other resources to detect the printer during its startup or logon phase. Many Lexmark printers use an "LXC" style DLL library, but often change the fourth letter based on series, such as "LXCV.time.dll" and "LXCFtime.dll." Lexmark was founded in 1991 by IBM and is a global leader in printing communications and hardware. They have invented superior technology over many decades that provide brilliant printing results with efficient operations, incorporating networking structures that allow flexible printer availability and the features needed to create easy user functionality.
