It is a pain, it can use 100% of CPU at times and slows the Comp down. Remove programme Nero Scout if possible

I have Nero 7 installed so I buy that it's part of that software. I've killed it in task manager many times with no adverse effects

Heavy CPU Usage on single core systems

Used by Nero disc writing etc. Use Anvir free or other task manager to make it ON DEMAND. Can also stop it when not in use. In Services.
