On my copy of orbtray.exe, it was part of the Winamp Remote software which allows you to access your Winamp library from the internet. This explains it's internet access. Check Kenneth's link for more info.
Also part of Winamp Remote located in 'C:\Program Files\Winamp Remote\bin' folder.

Orbtray is a streaming application, installed by the new WinAmp Remote Service.
It is used by Winamp Remote. I haven't created the required user account to configure this Winamp module and therefore haven't used it. It does seem to be related to access of multi media files or applications on the internet. Because I don't know yet the degree of control it has on my system I'll need additional information before I’m willing to explore this feature. Additionally, I installed Winamp to play local MP3s, I don't like the fact that a module that nags me every time I reboot was installed without my knowledge. Perhaps I wasn't attentive but I’ll error on the side of caution

I found out that I have two programs that I installed that use OrbTray.Exe they are winamp remote and g-force
) Ausführen will. Im folgenden link kann man unter "How does it work?" sehr gut sehen, welche funktion die Software hat.
