It's a service, Start\Run and type services.msc, Pest patrol remote service.
this is the service running in the background to 'phone home' to pest patrol server which is usually on your LAN
Part of eTrust's Pest Patrol, can cause IE to hang, especially on javascript intense pages like Yahoo. YMMV
i think it's to enable remote control over spyware scans and so on in a corporate environment. if you have ever used Pestpatrol corporate edition or similar and still do, then leave it, if not get rid.
