PVremote is a utility for using a remote controller for the PixelView Prolink PlayTV MPEG 8000GT TV Tuner Card, it is not at all a harmful application and it consumes a very low amount of resources...I suggest that you add in your description that the non-harmful "PVremote.exe" is in a sub directory named as the TV Tuner Card you have in the Program Files folder. If you don't have a tv tuner card and haven't installed any DVR/PVR/TVR software then you need to worry about this.
