It's used for the Alcor UB-6000 7-in-1 card reader and is the driver for Win98 and Win2k OS's. Alcor have not updated these drivers for WinXP and, as far as I can see, have now removed all support from their web site for this reader.

this shwicon2k.exe screen started showing up when I got a Mobile Broadband Card. When I put the card in the PCI slot sometimes it doesn't recognize it. I'm suspecting Card reader.... there must be something wrong but what. I used Security Task Manager to track down that it's from SunKis......and it's not active on my computer......don't know why yet........

Definately OEM Software for mobile laptop cardreader those getting crashes on this file your file is corrupt, startup service can be disabled, or can be uninstalled if card reader is not used. most do not use so disable will make your system run a little faster if you dont use card reader
