I have purchased SpyHunter but cannot get it to download, cannot remove it from my computer, It has stopped me from getting emails in outlook and has screwed my word and excel programs. There is now way of contacting them because they sent my password by email which they have disabled. I really need to contact them but don't know how

Don’t download this Free Anti-Spyware Scanner from Ant-Spyware 101, or similar sites. This is a tactic meant to scare you into paying for a “Full” version of SpyHunter. SpyHunter is not and never has been an effective tool at removing any “Rogue” Applications or infections.

Spy hunter keeps my computer running well. First you don't have it run automaticly on start up and seconedly make sure you read each pannel of protection and enable the one's you want. This is a powerfull program. This program has keeped my computer safe from programs that auto install and edit my registry bypassing windows "need your permission to continue" It also lets me know when certin programs are attempting to edit my redistry when they don't need to. I mainly use it to delete cookies and malware. although there are some clever cookies that just recreate themselves.

After much research, I have found SpyHunter to be of dubious claim and accord, presenting itself as an ineffective means of an antimalware device or even that of poor trojan virus with a history of conducting very suspicious behavior. Enigmasoftware, publisher of SpyHunter, has not yet presented the software to be reviewed by an AV Test, raising some suspicion as to the nature of the program. Whilst SpyHunter has attempted to present itself as an effective means of anti-spyware, it is rather very aggressive in the nature of its advertising, offering incredible amounts of repetition and 'critiq

downloaded it and then regretted it . Took over my PC every action had to be verified. Wanted money to remove non-virus infested programmes.Hard to remove. Not shown in installations. Removed it by opening process hacker terminating process and then going into Everything and removing it from there. It worked.

Best practices for resolving SpyHunter issues

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with SpyHunter. This means running a scan for malware, cleaning your hard drive using cleanmgr and sfc /scannow, uninstalling programs that you no longer need, checking for Autostart programs (using msconfig) and enabling Windows' Automatic Update. Always remember to perform periodic backups, or at least to set restore points.

Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time. Use the resmon command to identify the processes that are causing your problem. Even for serious problems, rather than reinstalling Windows, you are better off doing a repair of your installation, or in the case of Windows 8, executing the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command. This allows you to repair the operating system without losing data.

To help you analyze the SpyHunter.exe process on your computer, the following programs have proven to be helpful: Security Task Manager displays all running Windows tasks, including embedded hidden processes, such as keyboard and browser monitoring or Autostart entries. A unique security risk rating indicates the likelihood of the process being potential spyware, malware or a Trojan. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware detects and removes sleeping spyware, adware, Trojans, keyloggers, malware and trackers from your hard drive.
