The program is not visible. The file is not a Windows core file. The program uses ports to connect to LAN or Internet. The process can be uninstalled in the Control Panel. TmProxy.exe is able to hide itself. Therefore the technical security rating is 47% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.

Appearently part of Trend Micro PCcillin. Takes up way too much memory. i thought this was supposed to fix the problems w McAfee, but it's always the biggest hog in my task manager.

...also used to check that the web pages you access do not have malicious embedded ActiveX or Java code which could harm your PC or infect it with viruses. So if you're reading this, you're looking at webpage, and that's why it's using so much memory.

It eats 65,000K on my computer but has only started doing so lately, previously i have never noticed it and anything over 20,000k gets noticed pretty quickly so stuffs me. Close it using Trend Micro Pc Cilling

My new subscription of 2007 now consumes all my CPU ( 4 gigs memory). Some folks are re-installing 2006, I will probably look for another suite

I think if people are getting high CPU usage, then it is from something other than tmproxy. I have low CPU usage from this file. However when I had wmiprvse listed other than the System 32/WBEM, this file started running higher along with other files.

turn off from trend pcillin antivirus mailscan uncheck all three and the tmproxy thing will half
