Description: TPHKMGR.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files". Known file sizes on Windows XP are 94208 bytes (94% of all occurrence), 69632 bytes, 86016 bytes, 53248 bytes, 90112 bytes.
There is no description of the program. It is not a Windows core file. The program has no visible window. The process is loaded during the Windows boot process (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). Therefore the technical security rating is 63% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.

• "TpHotKey" can run at start up. Activates "ThinkPad Help" when the "Thinkpad key" is pressed on an IBM ThinkPad laptop. Also activates the audio buttons (volume up/down, mute) on models such as the Thinkpad T30

This file is not only found on IBM Thinkpads. Lenovo uses IBM software as well. I found this process on a Lenovo 3000 V100. The link shows LKenovo uses Thinkpad Technology.

Whenever i turn on my computer, the cpu usage suddenly shoots up to 100% disabling anymore processes. What i did was terminated the process tphkmgr.exe. To my surprise, my computer started running normally. Everytime I ran my computer i had to terminate the process as it slows down my computer very much.
