Monitors program installations for unwanted extra piggy-back progs, PUPs, Adware, disallows PUPs to install themselves without your permission. Adds entries of bad Adware progs to the hosts file listing. I have used this small prog on my Win 7, 64-bit computer to keep out unwanted "extras" PUPs during installs. It caught Panda Free AntiVirus, Sun Java, Skype, Driver Easy, Auslogics Registry Cleaner, and others, attempting to install extra crapware piggy-backed with those vendors own software installs. I have not had any problems with it running in the background on my own Win 7, 64-bit computer.
