It puts the applet to control the sound setting in the system tray. If you don't regularly change advanced volume settings (3d sound, speaker arrangement etc) you can delete it from startup and just use the Windows volumet control. You can always open up vdeck manually if you ever need it.

Schaltet beim hochfahren den Sound ab, verhindert den (Software)Regler des Lautsprechers nach oben (für Lautstärke Regelung) zu schieben. Besser aus dem Autostart löschen. Braucht kein Mensch.
