"vdtask" is not required to run at start up. Program part of GameDrive & VirtualDrive from Farstone. Not required as starting these programs load this automatically 
"VirtualDrive" is not required to run at start up. VirtualDrive from Farstone - virtual CD drive emulator. Available via Start -> Programs
