Perhaps this file comes with ViMicrocam software. I bough that webcam wich is a chinese one. Before i installed it i never had troubles and didnīt have the dialog window telling me that the process would be close.

Bei mir ist vmsnap23.exe mit installiert worden in den augenblick dass ich die software fuer den webcam software von zolid 1.3 mp (aldi angebot 15aug. 2007) installiert habe , nachdem ich diese software wieder entfenrt habe , ist alles wieder oke , ausser das der webcam naturlich nicht verwendbar ist!!!!!!!!

I can confirm the connection to the ViMicrocam, I also installed a canyon webcam which commes with the embeded soft. A process called Domino.exe also commes with the webcam.
