I never install winfax, but i have this file...why?
The wfxswtch.exe process is used to allow you to send a fax using WinFax from any windows application. It acts as a 'virtual printer'. If you use WinFax, you should leave the wfxsnt40.exe process running, otherwise it can be safely terminated.
This file is required for WinFax PRO 10.02, 10.03 or 10.04 (not used in previous versions of WinFax PRO)

Best practices for resolving WFXSWTCH issues

A clean and tidy computer is the key requirement for avoiding problems with WFXSWTCH. This means running a scan for malware, cleaning your hard drive using cleanmgr and sfc /scannow, uninstalling programs that you no longer need, checking for Autostart programs (using msconfig) and enabling Windows' Automatic Update. Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time.
