It is included with the Yahoo Messenger. Since its corporations being able to access your comp, I wouldnt trust it. Caused IE (version 6to crash.

I seem to not have the problem with the error if I am using the browser set up by my ISP. Every time I use IE though it has a problem

I know the fix! Do a file search for "yiesrvc.dll" on your hard drive. when found, hilite it and delete it. Restart computer. Then uninstall Yahoo BROWSER and do not reinstall until Yahoo fixes problem. This is spyware disguised as adware attaching itself during the Yahoo Browser install online.

On 9/7/2006 I updates to the latest release of AT&T DSL browser. If I go into IE the new release of the browser added a ICON for AT&T Yahoo services. If you go under tools in IE you can disable the YIESRVC and that will stop the problem of the abbend when you exit IE.

Great little add on in yahoo task bar,it recently found a hijacker deep in my system that Nortons,Spybot Search and destroy and Adaware never found and it also got rid of it for me.
