It totally made my computer unbootable. If this was aol that caused it it's pretty rude. AOL is the only service I have used since the mid 70's and this is really an inconvience. I don't know how I am going to get it fixed being on a fixed income doesn't help things. We trusted AOL but that's the last time.

Maybe it isn't entirely harmless. I'm the one who used Unlocker to remove it, and my computer sure runs smoother and faster now. Oh, I also removed the AOL Registry entry with Easy Cleaner 2.0 by ToniArts, it's a freebie, too.

AOLSP scheduler was the only AOL file I couldn't easily remove. I did finally delete it using the freeware Unlocker. Unlocker said it couldn't find handle but asked what do I want to do? I selected Remove On Next Reboot. Restarted Windows and it was gone. Yay!

The .exe file can be found by going to task manager, right clicking on the process and go to the file location. However, when you attempt to delete it, it says you don't have the privilidges to do so. I really don't need it on my computer and it takes up 50% of my CPU. Is extremely annoying!

AOLSP Scheduler has caused my PC more problems than it is worth. Every time I try to download something it continues to run even after I close it. My personal opinion is that the program is an attempt to hijack peoples personal information from their computer and place it on theirs to do what they will with it. I have had identity theft more than once since installing this program and I feel that the "scheduler" is more a problem than a solution.

We had a blue error screen during window desktop start up. When running task manager, the appearance of the blue screen coincided with the loading of this file. Upon uninstalling file in safe mode - problem resolved!
