Broadcom v. 6.2.0.6600 - on Vista 64 bit - if BTTray.exe is loaded, SQL Server 2000 won't install. setupsql.exe just loads into memory, but doesn't do anything. Also causes Windows Installer problems when trying to install some apps. (Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 reported Windows Installer problems.)

Doesn't take any resources except for about 8kb of ram for me, it came with BlueSoleil for me and the only thing that seems dangerous (more like irritating) is that after installing, i have an icon for it that i can't move or delete. Overall, it seems benign

In case of an error message "unable to start the Bluetooth Stack Service" download the driver from the Broadcom Web site and install the Widcomm Bluetooth Software. Registry cleaners do not help at all.
