This program is installed by COMCAST techs when they install Internet service at your home. Apparently they don't ask you if you want it and it may (probably) will conflict with any other secuirty systems you have. This COMCAST AntiSpy exist in a folder that is installed in your Program Files . I believe it is comcastb or something like that. I did a search of my "Files and Folders" for COMCAST AntiSpy and found the folder that way. Inside the folder there is a uninstall program. This seems to be the only way to uninstall it, as it doesn't show in the Add/Remove Programs under Control

it is loacated in 86 folder comcastb and there is an uninstall in that folder, just uninstalling comcastoolbar DOES NOT get rid of comcastantispy it was using 87% of my quad core and actually taking so much cpu that i encountered overheating problems with the processor for the first time in 4 yrs uninstalling it from the program files folder finally got rid of it for me

in my task manager, comcastantispy.exe was taking up 25 of my CPU usage. I removed it from my active processes, and uninstalled the program from my program files. My CPU usage went from 40% to 5% just like that.

It is a pain! Takes up space, slows processes and does not leave when you try and remove from computer. Caused log off shut down error issues. Comcast told me it could be a bot or virus. Told me to remove CA Real Time Protection I had already done that it did not help. Finally found files as stated by scoot and others in notes above. Did the uninstall. I hope it works!
