Cannot delete Eset from C:\ Program Files due to ekrn.exe remains, even after reboot.. Control Panel, Add-remove will not remove Eset, even though it's been (mostly) removed from the reg. Any info would be appreciated.

I think ekrn.exe is not a mare web proxy and a mail filter, it seems that eset corporation does a huge effort in not stopping that process, besides I picked up a parallel upload when I was using my live mail.. i consider it a dangerous spyware... funny you pay to get rid of it. and you get a whole new more dangerous one..

I uninstalled nod32 and ekrn.exe went with it. now my cpu speed is normal. I hate when they say something is better just for it to suck all your resources dry. I wouldn't recommend nod32 unless you have 2 gigs of ram or more.

we have ESET and after installing a Belking router we end up with a mesage that keep poping up every 90 seconds that say ekrn.exe error so we had to remove the Belkin software and everyting whent back to normal. it was frustrating
