This is part of Kodak EasyShare software. It is not essential and may be best to disable it as Kodake Easyshare software is a HUGE resource hog and can slow your PC diown or even cause it to hang

I'm having a hard time preventing this file from loading on startup. I've looked in all the usual startup places in the registry. It's listed in a couple of other keys, but I'm afraid to mess with it.

I also can't kill the process and when I try to change the priority, it tells me access denied. I don't need it running all the time! Grr.

Necessary for downloading from Kodak cameras but causes Win98 to hang at shut down. The only solution I've found is to remove it from the startup menu and only run it when needed. Make sure to kill it before powering down.

This file is really for the Kodak Easyshare camera, but there is no need of it in Windows XP. Everyone can transfer files from the camera just using the USB connection. No need of it at all (if you want, you can uninstall software, just not forget to remove all your files from the Kodak folder).

disabling it will disable your camera's transfer function until you activate the program again

stange...i can't end the process for some reason. after i his 'end process' it just sits there like i did nothing at all

came with my kodak easyshare software included with my digital camera. Totoal waste of resources if you have the slightest idea how to use your camera, not needed with XP

Essential if you have Kodak Easyshare software installed otherwise kill it.

KodakCCS.exe is an Application for your Kodak EasyShare Software. It's causing my system to crash, but it's not supposed to, I have windows ME so maybe thats' why. But w/o this application, you can't upload your pictures from your digital camera. I think I'll need to call Kodak and see if they can walk me through this and find a way for this to work without is causing my system to error.

was tricked into d/L this file as a zip , was soppose to be be fear factor playboy pics, inside zip was Kodakccs.exe, similar name to KodakCCS.exe which is dig camera software, upon executing file it adds kodakccs.exe to windows/system32/drivers folder and adds line to reg key run- so it will start at startup, this is where i got malicous zip, http://rapidshare.de/files-en/339306/218/FearFactor.zip, I think its a trojan
