I want anything Symantic off my computer. Norton is a resource hog and I can't delete symlcsvc.exe even after Norton Anti-Virus has been removed

it is a registry key that is installed when installing norton, and not uninstalled when you have unistalled norton. it doesnt take up any of my memory but i am suspicious considering i no longer have norton, and that this registry key is still classed as active, well it could be a host for other programmes .....

This error come when the symantec core lc service stops itself to get rid of the error we have to download symkbfix tool form symantec .com i.e goto "http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/custserv.nsf/0/6946186537608bf6882571b200047426?OpenDocument" run this file and reboot the pc .

It gets a bit dodgy when you try to delete it, you cannot remove it like a normal file so google ways to delete it

I know it was still on my computer@ C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\Symantecshared\CCPD-LC with three other dll files symlcnet, symlcrst, & symlctnk. After I removed Symantec and ran their removal tool fro their site. The exe file won't let me do a normal removal so doing the little File Removal Prg that you put the name of the file in to remove then reboot.
