This company manufactures & programs the chips that control many types of webcam. If you have installed the relevent webcam, then these files will run on startup. i bought a jvc pc camera and when i installed it i saw this tsnpsttd3 icon on my task bar i open it and found that i can zoom in or out my cam with it and also change the frames but after some days it stoped working and i m so worried abt it i want to zoom in but i cant plz help

Recently i bought a webcam and my msconfig startup add 2 more line, tsnpstd3 and vsnpstd3. I think this file manage webcam.

belongs to a Fujitsu Siemens webcam. Starts itself via registry HKLM...Run. Is not even required for using the camera!

This file has only shown up for me in startup when i have installed my MSI Star Cam 370i webcamera and it is the monitoring for the camera

I don't know if this is related to process vsnpstd3.exe installed with MSI Starcam? If so it's harmless.

I use a webcam that the software that tsnpstd3.exe uses. It causes severe slow down from time to time, but no additional problems arise.

Seems to have come along with a Sunvision.com.cn webcam, or something else camera related.

Above tsnpstd3.exe was installed on my WinXP PC after I connected a newly bought webcam (in Thailand), with the name "PC WEBCAM - Real Digital Life", made in China. Apart from this .exe-file it also installed a DLL with the same name. Alos installed was the file "vsnpstd3.exe", a file version which is also going through the internet. The ini-file reads like it is necessary for TWAIN data sources. So, it seems, that both files are "harmless" and are needed for the Webcam to wo rk properly - at least that´s what I hope.
