It is a file import program for sony vaio machines it is used to catalog files from seleted folders for use in Vaio Zone and Sonic Stage. it uses 50% cpu and some time get stuck recatologing large folders so it uses 50% cpu all the time. it can be shut down in the task managee and if you dont plan on useing vaio zone in that session.

it is a service installed on Vaio computers to monitor folders for certain file-types. it is perfectly safe and can be stopped in the services.msc

VzFw.exe used at least 37 MB of RAM on my computer. Since it's part of GigaPocket, which I don't use, I compressed VzFw.exe & VzFwImport.dll in a rar file and then deleted both those files. VzFw.exe thankfully doesn't start on my computer anymore. If you delete these files, make sure you save a copy elsewhere in case you need to restore them. It's kinda organizing tool working in the background. It instantly compares the library of Sonic Stage and VAIO ZONE. If you added new music to your Sonic Stage library this executive will add it to Vaio Zone automatically. That's all.

It came preloaded on my sony vaio, boots on load, and uses about 70 MB of memory and I've never used it.

Vzfw refers to the Vaio Zone Framework of Sony, which comes by default on the VAIO Pcs and Laptops. There seems to be some problem with this program as it eats up all the CPU Cycles. So, after startup, I always kill it so that it does not hog the CPU. OTherwise pretty harmless
