part of a USB to HDMI/VGA adapter driver ... badly done uninstaller which did not remove services related to it
  alex
It installed on my system when I added an an USB/DVI adapter dongle and the associated driver package from the manufacturer, MCT. Has never caused an issue (been running adapter for years now), has never attempted to send information outbound past my Firewall. The process can be stopped without incident, and isn't required for general functionality of the adapter, nor of Windows.
