I started getting "TransBaseCD DataBase System has encountered a problem and needs to close" directly after I uninstalled the BMW ETK suite of apps. Error report pointed to tbmux32.exe. I agree with Georg and ok, there must be some left overs from ETK (2009) causing the error in my case.
