I had a 'bounce' noise when i turned on my computer after joining BT. That's the noise when you click on a window and it won't let you do something because another window is open. I went into task manager and clicked off processes one by one and found it to be the BThelpnotifier, exe so stopped the process and it cured the noise. then i had to 'Run' msconfig to uncheck it from the start up menu this solved the problem.
