constantly dicks the hard drive & network -- prevents laptop drive shutdown thereby hogging power. Apparently related to HP 4215 printer drivers. not required for function of printer. EXE file has some other name.

I had something similar happen to me as Diane. I (ahem) upgraded to a newer HP driver for my OfficeJet, and now when I try to change the print Properties (e.g., change paper size or switch between B&W and color), the system hangs. If I do this when not connected to a LAN/WAN, I can access this with no problem. I think this HPWuSchd.exe is the culprit, or whatever is loading this file is. The HP tech was no help to me at all...he just sent me a link to show how to install a network printer (!!!).

We received an update from Hewlett Packard on our other computer (Compac) and downloaded it. What a mistake!!! The browser hardly moves and now I can't get any website to load, it comes up timed out! I did a virues scan and apparently it found adware *MultiDropper-DU* with the download.
